"Home Assistant" here is a private, single-household home automation server run by the Bowden family. It is not offered to the public.

What it accesses

When the owner signs in with Google, the server receives permission to read and create events on that person's own Google Calendar. It uses this only to show the calendar at home and to add events the household asks for, for example by voice.

Where data goes

Calendar data and the access token stay on the household's own server. Nothing is sold, shared with third parties, used for advertising, or used to train AI models.

Removing access

Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, or by removing the Google Calendar integration from Home Assistant.
